Staying in the home we’re in, we are only on cell phone mobile service with a hotspot for our other computers (no internet here). I am not able to load a lot of pictures due to using too much data so I am unable to do much of a blog post. We are buying a home here in Missouri for $150,000 on 34 acres. It is a 3 bedroom, one bath with a good attic, central air and heat, barns and outbuildings and in wonderful shape. We’ll be adding a bathroom, mudroom and bedroom in the next year or so. Our closing date is set for June 14th.

We will be in Northern Arkansas for a week later this month as they had this home we’re in reserved for that time. They do have internet there at the home in Arkansas so maybe I’ll be able to do one last catchup post before we get into our new (1904) home!    : )  The kids are doing great. We’ve had some wonderful fellowship with our friends already and are going to a homeschooled graduation party this Saturday.  : )

    • Bless you our brother! Matthew is so pleased to have you as a new friend and brother in Christ. Thank you sooo much for contacting him! It is a joy to see him lit up after he gets off the phone with you. Thank you for your prayers. We are praying for you too. Love, Matthew and Hadassah

      • Dear sister,
And I am lightened up when I speak to Matthew, he has helped me understand what it means:
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28 – 11:30 KJV)
It seems as if my brother, your husband has lived long putting himself into the yoke of Our Lord, I am in many ways still a babe in my renewed walk with Jesus Christ.

Many blessings to you both and the children,
        In Christ’s Love,

  1. Hi Hadassah and beautiful family,

So glad to hear from you being safe and sound and in a lovely home. Tons of love to all and tell your cute kittens, we all miss and love them a lot.

    • Hi Sussan! We all miss you! Thank you for writing us. Our internet works about 20% of the time so sorry for not getting back sooner. We miss having you as our neighbor. The kids had such a wonderful time in Maine with you stopping to talk with them each day when you took your precious dogs out for a walk. I can’t wait to post a picture of you all! The pictures turned out wonderful! You are so photogenic. Wonderful smile. : ) So, how are you doing? I still miss Maine – very much, my favorite state, I am heartsick over missing it….. what a TREASURE it is there!

    • Thank you Mary! We’re looking forward to many years there. It’s so nice to hear from you! By the way… I loved your chimes so much, I bought some for my friend some months ago. : ) I can’t wait to hear them again in the hot summer wind.

  2. I just re-read this post and what a beautiful home. It looks so inviting. I cant wait to see you all settled and getting into a routine in your own home. The barns will come in very handy too. Pray for you daily and think of you very often. Blessings!

  3. What beautiful built ins!! Ours were all torn out before we bought our house. I often imagine how they looked!
Have you moved in yet? Everyday I think of you hoping you are soon settled.
Thank You for your kindness about Mary Anne going home with the Lord. I’m air headed and flaky trying to find meaning in the crazy stresses of the world. (working with Sandra is doubly hard with new rules and regulations) It’s harder to cope without Mary Anne here to lighten my day, make me smile and share my load. She’s home and I’m not, for that my heart yearns.
    ((((HUGS)))) and LOVE

    • I am thinking and praying for you since finding out about Mary Anne. I know you must miss her so much and having her live with you for half of your life you must be not only thinking of her continually throughout the day, but seeing things in your house each day at every turn that brings up a memory of her. I love the verse where Jonathan’s seat will never be filled with another with David… each person is unique and contributes things to others that nobody else can and that’s what hurts when they are gone. Joy that they are in Heaven but we miss them, the chair cannot be filled. Thank God we can see them again one day though!!! I love the hymns that talk about our meeting our loved ones again… they are so beautiful.

The appraisal came back today fine so we get to move in on the 15th! We are so happy today. The kids were outside tonight catching fireflies… Hannah caught one, we put the little blue light bug in a jar but only for about 4 minutes. Beautiful day today, we needed it, it’s been hard lately.

Thank you for writing. I miss you and hurt for your hurt. We all love you all here. : )
