We miss daddy, don’t we kids? Here is a picture from November 14th (Matthew turned 4 this day). He’s lost nearly 20 pounds since then due to the gallbladder infection, etc…. : ( Anyways, we sure can’t wait to have you home dear. He just got done milking our cow here. Look at how clean he keeps everything.
This was maybe a few weeks ago. Anna on the left with the broader face, and Tabitha the wee one on the right.
I took this picture below on Thanksgiving. The kids were being silly and got themselves into the car seats pretending they were babies. I try to stay away from the sugar, but with all that’s going on I thought we might as well make the best of it, eat cookies and have a little fun. Elisabeth’s cookies were sure good. : ) I bet you will remember making these one day, Elisabeth.
I failed to mention that when the babies were in NICU, I went to visit them one evening and two ladies mistakenly thought I was the grandmother of them. It actually warmed my heart. I love the aging process… I just wish my bones didn’t hurt in my body so much already. : )
I try to hold my babies each morning for a while while everybody is eating. I don’t get much time with them and it’s hard on me. I try to steal 10 minutes here and 10 minutes there with them as much as possible throughout the day. Lately, it’s been hard because Miriam usually goes to her father so I can take care of the twins. She is vying for all of my attention now that daddy is in the hospital. Anyways, I love holding two babies, it is the most wonderful and natural thing for a mother to feel.
Elisabeth, you are so pretty and grown up looking…. maybe I shouldn’t show these pictures. : )
It is wonderful that Elisabeth just sat quiet and exactly like I saw her when I picked up my camera to shoot. She didn’t try to make silly, fun faces so I got to capture her in her seriousness.
